I draw your guests from life, and each guest takes the finished piece home with them.
Ink first,
then colour
The drawing begins as an ink sketch, worked from the person sitting in front of me. Colour is added afterwards, on A5 watercolour paper where the format calls for it.
The face is intentionally left undefined.
When it is finished it goes straight into the guest’s hands. Nothing is emailed afterwards and nobody leaves holding a card telling them to check their inbox.

Being drawn is the entertainment
Live drawing gives guests something to watch while each piece takes shape, and the finished illustration can be handed directly to the person it was created for.
That is the part that makes it different from a station guests queue at and leave. The subject is a guest, and everyone else in the room can see the work happening.
